Biondi wins Marymount Teaching Excellence Award

Congratulations are in order for my co-founder (and lovely wife) Carrie-Ann, who just yesterday received Marymount Manhattan College’s 2013 Teaching Excellence Award for the Division of Humanities, as decided by a vote of students in that division. This comes on the heels of her having won the Teaching Excellence Award in March 2012, as decided by a vote of the faculty. Here’s the speech she gave on the occasion of receiving the 2012 award.

I guess this provides the conclusive answer to former President George W. Bush’s “rarely asked” but immortal question, “Is our students learning?” Yes–and our professors is teaching, too.

  1. Congratulations, Carrie-Ann!

It’s good news that our students is learning; because, as GWB also noted, “the illiteracy level of our children are appalling.”

  2. Thanks, Roderick!
